Dr. Ashley received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 2002 and continued her education at Ross University in the West Indies. She received her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2006 after completing a year of clinical work at the University of Minnesota.
She combines traditional Chinese medicine, like pet acupuncture, with Western medicine to obtain the best results for all pets. Dr.Ashley obtained her certification in small animal acupuncture from the Chi Institute in 2007.
As part of her commitment, Dr. Ashley has expanded her ultrasound training. She graduated from the Executive Veterinary Program in Small Animal Ultrasound at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Dr. Ashley also trained under noted animal radiology and ultrasound expert, Dr. Ralph Weichselbaum, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 2011.
Dr. Ashley lives in Northbrook with her husband, two children- Sullivan and Sienna, their four cats and their newest addition their rescue dog Larry. In her free time Dr. Ashley enjoys traveling, volunteering, dancing, skiing and volleyball.
